Circle Defender - Polygon Peril

Circle Defender - Polygon Peril is a roguelite tower defense survival game based around surviving as long as possible. Build up your repertoire of abilities, pick your favorite combinations, tailor your equipped items to support that build, and see just how far you can push survival before you fall to the hordes of incoming enemies.

-STILL IN ONGOING DEVELOPMENT-

• I intend to add more enemy types, abilities, and unique items to support various builds and enable as much chaos as possible.
  • At current I'm working on several more enemy types to keep the gameplay engaging and give different builds different points of stress. Things like enemies that will protect those around them with a shield that stops abilities from hitting them until the player ends up in the shield with them, enemies that have armor so they are more sturdy to some effects, enemies that cant be hurt by explosions, etc etc.
  • I want to add more items that will do cool unique things like the turning bullets into explosive rounds. maybe some that disable auto shots and instead focus on thorns builds, something that knocks back enemies, etc.
• Balancing is ongoing, if  there are any pain points for the gameplay please let me know! I want to make the best game I can and have it feel as engaging as possible.
  • At the moment i know some stats break the game and need to be clamped or capped. I will be getting a feel for either reworking some stuff like CDR, or just flat capping it. Ideally I want to keep things uncapped to allow for wacky survival runs, but alas, some things will absolutely go infinite or crash the game if it goes too far.
  • spawn rate likely still needs some tuning to allow for players to feel like they aren't overwhelmed too soon. I think its a good balance right now, but I DO fully intend for players to get overwhelmed eventually, the question is on how well you can manage abilities to stave off that death!
• I intend to keep this relatively lightweight and hope to port this to phone as a wonderful idle game time killer!
  • Likely will start with Android then later IPhone.
